The Counted Wishes Festival is a unique Needle
Arts online show featuring a wide variety of artwork from many
independent Cross Stitch Designers. We offer you what's "New And
Different" in Designs!
It is also a juried craft show in which
hand-made items for Cross-Stitch are shown. These exhibitors include
Hand-dyed Fabric or Floss Dyers, Custom Sewers, or those who make
products for Cross-Stitch themselves.
Please join us at this website during the Festival to
view the Cross Stitch Designs and Products by our Exhibitors! We also
feature Show Specials, Grand Prizes, A Goodie-Bag Page,
Cyber-Classes, and Fun Games. Our Festival Dates are:
Spring Showing: Feb. 1-7
Fall Showing: Aug. 1-7
If you sign up for our
Newsletter, we'll keep you informed of the Counted Wishes Festival, as
well as the Grand Prize winners after the Festival.

Blackwork Accessories Cyber-Class By Janet Perry
Learn the simple and historic needlework of Blackwork
in this class from Janet Perry of
Napa Needlepoint. You'll make three different
accessories, each showcasing a different aspect of Blackwork.
The round luggage tag will show different basic Blackwork
patterns.
The photo album will have different Blackwork borders.
The checkbook cover will teach shading in Blackwork.
All three projects are stitched in silk or perle cotton on 14 count Aida
(those wishing to try Blackwork on needlepoint canvas can do so). You
can finish each of the projects yourself for delightful presents or to
treat yourself.
Price: Three
online lessons, beginning August 1, 2010, are a great value at $20. It's
easily worked into your schedule as the class is online, and the lessons are
sent by email. Discussions are held in the Yahoo group, so that can be done
according to the attendee's schedule, as well.
